Back

April 20th, 2008

I’m back. Comics are back again as well, updating at EvilSpawn.net (which I just redesigned).

Go check it out.

Temporary Leave

February 13th, 2008

I’ve decided to take a temporary leave from the strip for a bit. School work has been piling up and working on the comic has become something of a chore.  So come back in a bit - I’ll probably have some more comics up by then.

Some site-related news

January 15th, 2008

You might of noticed that the site was down towards the end of yesterday and until just recently. I’m not sure what happened - I contacted my host to see if they could do something to resolve the issue, so I’m assuming they got it worked out.

Second up - the site redesign. It only took a bit of customization, but I’m really happy with it. I also installed a “share this” plug-in so you can share stuff with other people if it really appeals to you.

Keong (or spearr as he goes by on forums) just reached the 100th-strip mark with his strip, t-n-t. He’s been doing a ton of advertising on larger sites and it seems to be paying off. Anyway, go read his strip, it’s great stuff.

2007- a year remembered

January 1st, 2008

Happy new year everyone!

Haven’t been doing much lately besides waiting for the stuff I ordered to arrive and thinking up comic ideas and whatnot. Last night seemed to be quite productive, even with the neighbor’s incredibly loud new year party going right outside my window. Had a great idea though up - now all that’s left is to execute it.

I’ll be taking a short hiatus from the strip later on so I can have some time to experiment with Adobe Creative Suite, and if all goes well I might make a permanent move to those programs. I’ve been using Acorn to create my strips but the “Buy Now” banner that stretches across your canvas when you work has become something of an annoyance lately.

Oh right, more about the stuff I ordered. I ordered a bunch of stuff from my store over at cafepress around a month ago, but it still hasn’t arrived. I’m guessing it was held up at the border, because I got an order confirmation email later on that said my stuff had been shipped. If you are going to order anything, don’t unless you live in the US.

I got sick earlier on this week, resulting in a fever, congestions, and a sore throat, which is pretty much the reason for my recent absence on the wonderful world of the internet. But I do have some good news - I’ll be going to the Seattle Comic convention later on in may! It’s my first time going to a comic con, so I’m pretty excited. More info lies on the official website (linked up there somewhere).

What were they thinking?

?

The title of this post pretty much sums up my thoughts on the title of this Garfield compilation.
